Edward Green
EXCELLENCE WITHOUT COMPROMISE
Description
Edward Green is a British shoemaker founded in 1890 in Northampton. It produces hand-crafted men’s leather shoes following traditional techniques. Each pair is cut by hand from premium leathers and Goodyear welted for durability. Today the company relies on around 60 skilled artisans in Northampton, producing roughly 350 pairs a week. The result is classic, elegant shoes with refined lasts, hand-finished calfskin, and oak-tanned soles that age with character.
The brand sells ready-to-wear shoes worldwide through its own retail stores; notably a shop on Jermyn Street in London; and various high-end retailers internationally. At the London store you can try shoes in person and receive expert advice on fit and style. Edward Green also offers repair and resoling services, allowing shoes to be maintained and worn for decades.
The business emphasises timeless English craftsmanship, quality materials, and longevity rather than fast fashion trends.
